Young and Active Family of Three in Durham is eager to locate their first fantastic Part-time Nanny for their 2mo baby girl around the last week of July.
The Family describes themselves as a young, same-sex married couple who’ve just welcomed their first child and both have careers that allow them to work from dedicated home offices and provide flexibility in schedules, PTO, etc. They have two dogs, both under 40lbs, and enjoy spending time at home in their outdoor spaces as well as being active outside. Their daughter is sweet, snuggly, and a great eater and napper. They believe in providing a loving, supportive environment for their daughter and their goal is to foster a secure attachment and a healthy schedule that allows their family to be happy, and healthy, and well rested.
The Family has a scheduled need of Monday – Thursday 8am – 3pm can guarantee 28 hours a week and could possibly push the start time to 9am for the right candidate. The Family would also be open to a Nanny that wanted to bring their own child.
Their ideal Nanny would be dependable, and communicative and would develop a bond with their daughter. They should be willing to provide mental stimulation (tummy time, age-appropriate play) as well as emotional attention (hugs, talking). They would also be willing to spend some time outdoors (neighborhood walks).
A Nanny who is both experienced and comfortable in the assistance in establishing and keeping infants on a consistent schedule of all early childhood development is a must. The baby will both breastfeed and take expressed breast milk from bottles. Once she starts solids, some light meal preparation may be required (heating food, plating, loading dishwasher, etc.). Starting baby laundry, and folding/putting baby clothes away would all be appreciated assistance for the Family as well.
The Family will only need a 10-month agreement as their baby girl will be attending daycare in Mary 2023.

Position Compensation
Salary: $20 to $25 an hour depending on experience
