Animal Loving Family of Five in need of Animal-Friendly Part-time Nanny/Household Manager in Wake Forest. This wonderful Family has three children, 9yo (M), 7yo (F), and 3yo (M), with their Dream Home being built on their Farmland with multiple fun farm animals.
This wholesome family is on the lookout for someone who can assist in a Monday/Wednesday/Friday 12pm – 4pm, Tuesday/Thursday 9am – 4pm (25 hrs/week) schedule with the flexibility to add hours for Household Management responsibilities for the right candidate. Occasionally having a few nights or weekends along the way with lots of heads up.
Family’s two older children will return to school in mid-August. They are looking for a Nanny to care for 3yo and carpool and after-school care for all three kiddos. They would love to have someone also willing to help with some household chores. Childcare responsibilities would include activities and playtime with their preschooler, picking kids up from preschool at 1pm and grade school in Raleigh at 3pm, and getting kids settled and started on homework when they get home from school.
Animal care is not required, however, there is likely to be interaction with some of the animals, especially the dogs. One of which is an English Mastiff and weighs over 150 lbs, so comfort with animals is a must. They are looking for someone laid-back and down to earth and will fit in comfortably with their tight-knit family and their four dogs, three guinea pigs, and three bunnies.
The children love checking for fresh eggs in the chicken coop every day and enjoy playing outside and having adventures around the farm, going to the park and the pool, and playing board games. Their oldest loves video games as well.
Household manager responsibilities while kids are in school would include light housekeeping to keep their small space (while the home is being built) clutter-free and organized (keeping the main living space tidy, toys put away, children’s laundry, dishes, vacuum/sweep), grocery shopping, kids lunch prep, light errands.
