Raleigh Family with 19mo Baby Boy needs FT Career Nanny/Household Manager JOB 218
Passionate and Lively Raleigh Family would be thrilled to find a Full-time Nanny/Household Manager for them and their 19mo Boy starting as soon as possible. The Family is looking for an experienced and reliable top-notch individual who can devote themselves to a set schedule of 9:30a – 5:30p Monday – Friday for a guaranteed set of 40 hours a week while providing tremendous service and loving support.
They are looking for a Nanny + pseudo–House Manager role (with a priority on Nannying!). The perfect fit would be someone who loves their son as they do, knows what’s best for each developmental cycle (& can guide them as ‘new’ Parents [of a now toddler] in decision making), and who will help them be the best version of themselves. Essentially, the perfect ‘Nanny’ will be the glue to their Family… someone who not only helps with their Boy but also helps with grocery shopping and meal prepping a few days a week, as the schedule allows.
Their little Boy loves reading, music, playtime, gym time, Storytime at the library, museums, eating, and sleeping. He is super easy going and the Family would love to get someone in place who will seek out fun things and adventures for him to do like story time, playgroups, Marbles, music class, gym time, etc.… these are all things he’s used to partaking in and the Parents are hoping to have this continue. The Family has an amazing neighborhood filled with young kids & nannies! who regularly plan outings together…The Nanny would be one of the group almost immediately!
The ideal Nanny would be someone who becomes a part of their Family, loves their son, is prompt, organized, type-a go-getter, educational based, creative, and friendly. They are a big proponent of gentle parenting techniques, understanding that they’re learning about the world around them and not intentionally misbehaving or acting out.
Their previous Nanny was wonderful (she moved away due to her husband’s job) She helped with the following and the Family would love to have someone do the same:
—Light cleaning/tidying up (only in areas used with their little Boy)
—Meal prep for Child
—Meal prep for Family 2-3/nights
—Child’s laundry
—Family laundry 1-2 loads per wk (this is minimal but helpful)
—Errands occasionally/when needed (grocery shopping, target runs to grab more snacks for their Boy/the Family tacks on any necessities, Costco only when needed) … The previous Nanny made these store runs with their little Boy to get him out of the house.
—Whole home cleaning is NOT needed as the Family has a housekeeper but would love it if the Nanny was both aware and supportive in helping keep things neat and tidy.
Travel is minimal right now, but the Family does love to travel, and they’d love someone to be comfortable with travel should they decide to plan a trip.

Position Compensation
Salary: Starting at $25 an hour depending on experience and qualifications, the family is also open to providing a health insurance stipend and contributing to a 401K account for the perfect fit
