Raleigh Family has a need for a Part-time Nanny for their 2 children with a start date beginning to Mid-November. The ideal schedule would be Monday – Friday 12:30p – 5:30p guaranteeing 25 hours per week for their 3yo little girl and 15mo little boy.
Their little girl loves arts & crafts, reading, singing / listening to music, playing outside, going on walks, and sensory play. She is very verbal and loves playing on the playground. Their little boy enjoys going on walks, playing outside, balls, and blocks. He loves dogs and reading books as well. He is incredibly sweet and loves to cuddle.
The Family’s ideal Nanny is someone who genuinely enjoys being around children, has a positive attitude, is energetic and enthusiastic. Engagement is critical. They want someone to be actively playing with them, reading, talking with them, singing, being silly, or leading creative / developmentally appropriate activities. Not being on screens (phones, tv, etc.) around the kids is important to the Parents. The ideal Nanny is dependable, trustworthy, and tidies up after themselves / the kids. The Family is hoping to find someone their children view as an extension of the Family and that they feel comfortable and safe with.
Primary responsibilities would include the overall care for the children once they are back from their preschool. Preparing snacks and activities to assist in healthy development as well as keeping things tidy with regard to the children. Clean lunch boxes & prep meals for the following day during nap time. Potentially picking up pre-ordered groceries and picking up children from pre-school would be a big plus. Their little boy naps between 1p – 4p so the primary responsibility will be caring and engaging with their little girl.

Position Compensation
Salary: $20 to $23 an hour depending on experience
