Professional North Raleigh Family happy to discover new FT Nanny for their two little girls JOB 184
Fantastic Family of Four in North Hills are delighted to announce their need for an outstanding Full-time Nanny for their 1.5yo and 2.5yo little girls at the end of August. The Family has a scheduled need of Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm with schedule flexibility if the right candidate needs to start slightly later in the mornings amounting to 40 hours instead of 50.
The Family describes themselves as very laid back and casual while having a gentle approach to parenting. They are not strict or particular about much and feel as if their little girl’s personalities reflect their relaxed demeanor. The two little girls love being outside… both walking through the neighborhood and playing at the park about a 15 min walk away. They both love toys that stack and connect – Magna Tiles, Legos, connecting blocks, etc. Their oldest loves to read and the youngest is just starting to get into it now. The girls each have their own bedroom and a playroom upstairs. They also have a space to play downstairs in the living room. There is a fair-sized backyard which they plan to fence in and add a playground to.
The Family would love someone who can help shop for food for the kids and prepare meals/do laundry for the kids as well. They would also love someone who is able to drive the kids (Oldest to school and both girls to activities or outings) so a reliable vehicle and clean driving record are a must. Their oldest starts school at the end of August and they would love someone to drop her off and pick her up if possible (once she is adjusted). Drop off would be 8:15 – 8:30 AM and pickup would be noon M-F.
Cleaning up after the kids would be great. If someone is willing to do a little bit of other cleaning (emptying dishwasher… washing a dish here and there) it would be nice but certainly not required. Their youngest had some feeding issues earlier in life that required occupational therapy and she has a nutritional supplement that she drinks while she gets up to speed on her eating.
Early childhood education training and extensive experience with both nannying and teaching kids in preschool environments is the perfect background for this Family’s new Nanny. Their previous two Nannies were both very much on board with their style of parenting and had many practical tips for how to help the kids develop – what toys would be useful for achieving their milestones, what behaviors they noticed and how to work with them, etc.

Position Compensation
Salary: $22 to $25 an hour depending on experience
