Professional Family of Four in Durham are thrilled to proclaim their need for an outstanding Full-time Nanny for their 2mo little boy and 2yo little girl by the second week of September. The Family has a scheduled need of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7am – 6pm with Wednesdays being 7am – 8pm for a guarantee of 55 hours for the right candidate. Mom can predictably be home by 5-6pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and most Mondays and Fridays. Although, Wednesday, third Monday of month, and second Friday of month are her operating room days and those days it is harder to predict her return home so the perfect Nanny would be one who is resilient with schedule needs those days with understanding.
The Parents are both Doctors at Duke hospital and are really looking for a Nanny who would live close to their home. She would be warm, loving, active, and energetic without other family commitments. She would be able and willing to embrace an unpredictable schedule particularly on Wednesdays when both of the parents may be stuck at work later than expected in the operating room. She would be educated (at least high school, but even some post high school degree). She would value reading, educational activities, and do creative, imaginative, and educational activities with their children throughout the day at age-appropriate levels. She would be comfortable and experienced taking care of two children (infant and toddler) at the same time. She would be a safe driver. She would be vaccinated and understand strict hand washing and be conscious of ways to prevent disease transmission.
Their little girl is energetic and fun loving. She is a new big sister and has adjusted well to the role. She loves being outside playing or going to the park. She also loves going places to do activities like Kidzu and Museum of Life and Science. She is starting pre-school (Montessori School of Durham) on 9/6 from 9am-12pm and will need to be transported to and from there. So far, she is excited about school and has enjoyed the orientation events we attended. Their little boy is a good baby. He needs love and to be fed and changed at this point. The Family are not having him out in public (indoor places) until after he has had his first immunizations.
Major plus if the Nanny is interested in running errands and doing grocery and household item shopping. They also hope the Nanny could provide enriching activities for children as they grow while harboring a wonderful environment throughout their development.

Position Compensation
Salary: $20 to $23 an hour depending on experience
