Start Date: ASAP but hopefully before February 17, 2025
Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Evenings: 1-2 times per month (as needed, due to work travel)
Weekly Hours Guaranteed: 30
Compensation: Hourly Rate: $24-$28/hour (based on experience and qualifications) Overnights will be paid at a flat rate

About the Family
Active, energetic family of four with two curious and adventurous boys, ages 9 and 5. The family values creativity, flexibility, and quality time together. The boys enjoy soccer, exploring the outdoors, playing with Legos, and learning about animals.
The parents work in dynamic professions, with one working from home. Occasional travel for work may require overnight childcare support. They live in a single-family home within a gated community that features a pool and plenty of outdoor space.
Role Expectations:
The family is seeking a warm, proactive, and reliable nanny to help support their household and care for their boys. Key responsibilities include:
Arriving at home at noon to pick the children up from school daily between 4:00-4:30 PM.
Planning and engaging in educational and recreational activities.
Assisting with homework and supporting the children’s development.
Preparing meals and snacks for the children.
Managing children’s laundry and maintaining the organization of their rooms.
Running errands and completing short tasks while the children are at school.
Providing overnight care when parents are traveling for work (occasionally).
Driving the children as needed (family car provided for work-related duties).
Swimming with the children during warm months.
Light housekeeping duties will be limited to areas and tasks related to the children.
Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for someone who:
Is warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
Embraces a gentle and empathetic approach to discipline, focusing on understanding behaviors and guiding positive actions.
Is flexible, highly organized, and capable of balancing multiple tasks.
Has experience with ADHD and is comfortable supporting the unique needs of an 8-year-old with regular medication.
Is creative, energetic, and able to nurture the boys’ interests and natural curiosity.
Requirements:
Must be comfortable driving the children (valid driver’s license required).
Vaccinations are not a requirement for this position.
