Fun and Easygoing West Cary Family is seeking an Active PT Nanny/Family Assistant JOB 171

Active and Professional Family of Five in West Cary is hoping to find their next wonderful Part-time Nanny that is energetic, creative, fun, outgoing, responsible, and reliable.

Hours : 12 to 4:30 or 5 Monday through Thursday. Starting as soon as August 22. Family assistant responsibilities include:

• regularly wipe counters
• occasionally sweep / vacuum floors
• organization 
  • primarily kid areas
  • a little in kitchen/pantry/family areas
• folding and putting away laundry 
• dinner prep
• empty dishwasher
• change sheets

Childcare

• pickup from school bus/daycare typically at 3:30 to 4
  • MUST be a good driver
  • Must have a car that can accommodate two boosters and a car seat
• transition from school to home environment
• Watching kids after school

The Family consists of two girls aged 10 and 7 as well as a 3-year-old little boy.  The children’s interests include ballet, piano, chess, reading, playing outside, and being adventurous.  The Family is really looking for someone who can be caring, patient, and engaging with the children while also being responsible for Light household work (i.e., wiping down counters, folding laundry, sweeping dining room floor).  It will be a big plus for the Nanny to have experience with/or be comfortable tutoring and assisting the children with homework/learning as well.

Cooking: For children as needed

Laundry: For Family as needed

Position Requirements

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 12:00 to 4:30 or 5:00 pm could also be flexible with the start time

Languages: English

Experience: 3+ Years of Experience as a sitter, nanny

References: Minimum of 2 References, ideally written

Background: Pass a stringent background check

Personality Traits: Kind, creative, engaging, organizing, energetic, punctual, and communicative (example – would tell Family when running late).  

Position Compensation

Salary: $18 to $24 an hour depending on experience and work history
