A dedicated family in Burlington, North Carolina, is seeking a reliable, experienced, and nurturing full-time, super flexible nanny/house manager to provide care for their two daughters, ages 7 and 3. The family owns and operates their own company and has a busy household requiring an organized and proactive caregiver. This busy household requires a dependable and trustworthy nanny who can provide stability and structure. The parents have limited family assistance and highly value the role of a committed caregiver. The ideal candidate will become an integral part of the family, helping to alleviate stress and ensuring the household runs smoothly. Previous positive experiences with nannies have been deeply cherished, and the family is eager to find another exceptional caregiver to join their home.
Both girls are energetic and creative, with a love for music, singing, dancing, crafts, and outdoor activities. The older child participates in gymnastics and basketball/soccer, while the younger one is preparing to start dancing in the spring. A nanny who enjoys engaging children in active and stimulating activities would be a great fit for this role.
The parents believe in clear and consistent discipline, utilizing assertive communication, timeouts, and appropriate restrictions when necessary. The older child responds well to discussions, while the younger one may require rest time, timeouts, or the temporary removal of privileges to reinforce boundaries.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10am-6pm
Wednesdays 12- 8
Fridays, 10am-1pmAnd every 1st Friday of month an evening in place of the daytime, 5-11pm (estimate), occasional overnight required Saturdays, every other weekend (9 am-2pm) Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of month. And every 3rd Saturday of the month, an evening, 5-11 (estimate) and occasional overnight required.
One Saturday late afternoon/evening a month (may occasionally need 2, but doubtful at this moment in time
Weekly Hours Guaranteed: 35-40 weekly
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children.
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities and outings.
Assist with homework and tutoring as needed.
Prepare meals for the children and occasionally for the family.
Handle children’s laundry and assist with household organization.
Light housekeeping duties, including sweeping floors, running the Deebot vacuum, wiping down counters, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and general tidying.
Organize pantry and closets to maintain an orderly home.
Drive the children to activities and appointments using a personal vehicle.
Assist with pet care for the family’s large dog.
Run occasional errands and grocery shopping as needed.
Requirements:
Must be comfortable working in a household with a large dog.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle for transporting children.
Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.
Previous nanny, childcare experience required and household management experience preferred.
Ability to set clear boundaries and enforce discipline in a firm yet loving manner.
Must be dependable, proactive, and willing to commit long-term.
Compensation & Benefits:
– $23.50 an hour
– Annual bonus, with potential for semi-annual raise pending performance, as well as annual raises
– 2 weeks PTO, accrual basis
– 5 sick days, accrual basis
