Proud parents of a happy and healthy newborn baby boy are searching for a wonderful nanny for their child in Raleigh. The family moved to NC for medical training and fell in love with what the state had to offer. In non-COVID-19 times they love to explore new restaurants, take in live music, and travel. More recently, they enjoy streaming TV, movies, and cooking at home.
This wonderful couple is looking for a compassionate and reliable long-term nanny with newborn experience. They realize that the nanny will spend a lot of time during the most formative years with their child, and they hope to find someone passionate about helping their little one grow and develop.
Other important characteristics include compliance with CDC recommendations regarding COVID, First AID/CPR certified, punctuality, and patience with small children. They wish to follow a Parent-directed feeding schedule (BabyWise program). They will need a nanny capable and willing to follow a set schedule regarding feeding, wake time, and naps, and someone willing to log these events in a daily planner.
Responsibilities and tasks expected from the nanny will include all the usual and related to the baby ex; (washing bottles, picking up toys, emptying diaper pail, etc.). The baby will be the nanny’s priority; however, someone interested in helping with light meal prep for the family will be appreciated, but not a requirement and only expected when time allows.
The general schedule for this position will be from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Four full weeks of paid time off per year will be part of the offer, plus major national holidays.
Salary starts at $900 weekly.
The start date is March 22, and mom will be part-time the first two weeks of the nanny’s employment to facilitate the transition.
