Multilingual Durham Family of Three looking to locate a warm fun-loving Nanny for their 2yo little girl JOB 163
This Adventurous Durham Family wishes to match with an Engaging and Creative Nanny by the second week of February and would provide a daily schedule of 9:00 am to 4 or 5:00 pm Monday – Friday.
The Family thrives on adventure and authentic engagement. They value education in all forms and are proponents of independence and effective communication. They also enjoy outdoor adventure, music and the arts, cooking, and exercising. Their little girl enjoys reading, science experiments, music time, and all forms of outdoor play. The Family engages her by leveraging the Montessori method and have curated a Montessori classroom and accompanying lesson plans for her to try. They do not permit her to use technology except for Alexa during music time. The Family also lives across the street from the neighborhood playground and walking distance from the neighborhood pool and a nice pond with walking paths to be utilized.
The ideal Nanny would be kind, creative, engaging, organized, and energetic. It would also be ideal if she/he possesses early childhood education certification or coursework, along with 3+ years of Full-time Nanny or Teaching experience. The little girl has FPIES and consequently has sensitivities to tree nuts, poultry, and seafood. The Nanny would need to be careful about what she consumes around her as well.
They desire a Nanny that can build lesson plans for their daughter and engage her in educational play. Along with all other general responsibilities such as keeping all play areas tidy, their little girl’s laundry would need to be done once per week. Their daughter still breast feeds, so mom will come down after lunch time to feed her before her nap.
