A warm and welcoming family in Cary, NC is seeking a kind, experienced, dependable, and proactive full-time nanny to care primarily for their newborn baby boy, expected November 16, 2026. The family also has two young daughters who attend school and will not typically be under the nanny’s care, except occasionally if one of the girls needs to remain home from school due to illness or school day off. This family previously employed a wonderful nanny for three years after the birth of their youngest daughter and understands the importance of creating a positive, respectful, and professional nanny-family relationship. They are hoping to once again find a nanny who will become a trusted and valued part of their family. The ideal candidate will be confident with newborn and infant care, patient and nurturing, and naturally takes initiative without requiring significant day-to-day direction or micromanagement. Schedule Starting Date: November 2, 2026 (Before Baby arrives) – Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM – Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM – 43 guaranteed hours per week – No regular evenings or weekends Responsibilities – Provide attentive and developmentally appropriate newborn and infant care – Maintain feeding, sleeping, and daily routines in collaboration with the parents – Support developmental milestones through tummy time, reading, sensory play, walks, and age-appropriate activities – Prepare bottles and baby food as appropriate – Handle child-related laundry – Keep children’s play spaces and kitchen areas tidy after meals and activities – Organize child-related belongings and supplies – Drive children as needed Driving is expected to be limited during the baby’s first year but may increase later as the family’s school transportation needs change. Family & Home The family lives in a single-family home and has a cat. Pet care is not required, although occasional help would be appreciated. The father works from home approximately 80% of the time. The family also has professional housekeeping help every one to two weeks, so this is not a heavy housekeeping position. English and Arabic are spoken in the home.
